Hi, I’m Jacq
My love of fashion began early. As a young girl, I’d sit by my mum’s sewing machine, eagerly waiting for my next handmade dress to come to life. We’d spend hours together in fabric shops, choosing patterns and materials. It felt like magic—and it sparked a lifelong fascination with clothes and style.
I began my career in fashion in 2003 as an assistant womenswear designer and went on to work with leading UK retailers including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Principles. I specialised in tailoring and separates—modern, wearable pieces inspired by trends, travel and street style. Over 15 years, I visited fashion capitals like Milan, Paris, London and New York, gathering inspiration from the latest collections.
Eventually, I wanted a different pace—something that offered more balance while still letting me work creatively and connect with people. I re-trained as a Personal Stylist at the London College of Style in 2018, and haven’t looked back.
Today, I help women reconnect with their personal style—through wardrobe edits, colour analysis and thoughtful outfit building. Seeing someone light up when they recognise themselves in the mirror again is the best part of what I do.
Outside of styling, you’ll find me walking in the Surrey countryside with Rosie (our dog), braving a cold water swim, or getting lost in a podcast or two. I live in Surrey with my husband, two teenage boys, and of course, Rosie.
I’d love to help you feel great in your clothes again.
Warmly,
Jacq
“I loved my colour analysis and wardrobe edit with Jacq. It’s given me so much more confidence and I really enjoy opening my wardrobe and putting outfits together now I know what works best for me. Jacq made the whole process easy and fun - I’m so glad I found her! ”
How I Work
My styling approach is relaxed, friendly and collaborative—but always focused on helping you achieve your goals. I believe that style should feel enjoyable, not overwhelming, and that when you feel good in your clothes, it has a real impact on how you show up in the world.
What You Can Expect
A personal, supportive experience
I meet you where you are. Whether you're feeling stuck, starting fresh, or just need a reset, I tailor each session to suit your life, your wardrobe, and your confidence levels.
Inclusive and real
Everyone deserves to feel stylish—regardless of size, age, gender or lifestyle. I work with real people, and I build wardrobes that reflect your reality, not fashion fantasy.
No pressure, no trends for trend's sake
I don’t follow fleeting trends. Instead, I focus on what works for you—your day-to-day life, your preferences, your budget, and what makes you feel like your best self.
Clarity and confidence
You'll finish our session knowing what suits you and why. I provide outfit inspiration, follow-up notes and photos from our time together, so you can build on your style with confidence.
Empowering, practical support
I understand how easy it is to lose your sense of style—especially after big life changes. I’ve been there myself after becoming a mum. My job is to help you rediscover what feels right again.
Ongoing guidance
Many of my clients return season after season to refresh and refine their style. Others check in when they need advice or a bit of inspiration. However we work together, I’m here for the long term—to support your evolving style.
